UFC 268 MAIN CARD PREDICTIONS

Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington

For those of you that follow us on social media. You will already know how I feel about this one. Since their last meeting Kamaru Usman has really improved as a Striker. I expect this fight to once again remain on the feet, only this time I expect Usman to have an even greater advantage. I don't expect this fight to go the distance, and end the same way.

- Usman by KO, TKO, or DQ

BETS

- Fight doesn't go the distance -130 on Sports Interaction

- Usman by KO, TKO, or DQ +115 on Sports Interaction

Rose Namajunas vs Weili Zhang

Another rematch on the card with another belt on the line. Will this fight play out differently than last time? I expect it won't be over so quickly this time. I believe Weili Zhang went into the last fight fully expecting to bully Rose Namajunas. That won't be the case this time. I expect both fighters to pace themselves and play it somewhat safe. This fight should go to a decision. I believe Rose Namajunas' jab and movement will be the difference.

- Namajunas by Unanimous Decision

BETS

- Namajunas to Win -115 on Sports Interaction

Justin Gaethje vs Michael Chandler

This is a really interesting fight. Two wrestlers that prefer to knockout their opponents on the feet. What sets them apart though is that I would still consider Michael Chandler to be a Wrestler first, and Striker second. Justin Gaethje has become a very exciting Striker that uses his Wrestling ability to keep the fight on the feet. Both fighters have one punch knockout power. If Chandler can get this fight to the Ground I think he can grind out a Decision. If he can't successfully take Gaethje down, then one of them will get the knockout. I am betting on Michael Chandler's wrestling.

- Chandler by Unanimous Decision

BETS

- Chandler to Win +160 on Sports Interaction

Shane Burgos vs Billy Quarantillo

This is a fight between an established veteran on a bit of a down slide vs an up and comer who hasn't quite proven himself yet. I generally side with veterans in these match ups. Burgos hits like a sledgehammer, and knows how to keep fights standing. There are some holes in Burgos' game but I don't think Billy Quarantillo is skilled enough at this point in his career to exploit them.

- Burgos by Unanimous Decision

BETS

- Burgos to Win -175 on Sports Interaction

Frankie Edgar vs Marlon Vera

On paper this appears to be a very even match. Both fighters are well rounded, resilient, and looking to make a statement. What stands out to me, and obviously the odds makers in Vegas is the durability of Frankie Edgar at this point in his career. Frankie Edgar has been through some absolute wars in the cage. There was a time when it seemed like you couldn't finish him. Well that's no longer the case. Every fighter's chin has an expiration date, and Frankie Edgar's has past. I expect this to be a close fight until Vera catches him.

- Vera by KO, TKO, or DQ

BETS

- Vera to Win -175 on Sports Interaction

Bonus Fight

Alex Pereira vs Andre Michailidis

Alex Pereira is well known to combat sports enthusiasts. His height and reach are excellent for a Middleweight. He knocked out current UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya in a professional Kickboxing match. Given his skill, and ability to keep fights at distance. Expect a highlight-reel-worthy knockout in his UFC debut.

- Pereira by KO, TKO, or DQ

BETS

- Pereira by KO, TKO, or DQ

- Pereira to Win -280 on Sports Interaction

ADDITIONAL BETS

- Ode Osbourne vs CJ Vergara

Under 2.5 Rounds -130 on Sports Interaction

MMA WAGERING RECORD

At UFC 267 I went 5 for 6. My only loss was due to the terrible performance by Jan Blachowicz. In that event I didn't list potential wagers. From this point on I will list my pick to win, possible method of victory, and the wager I would place. Follow me each and every week for the best MMA betting advice, and fatten up those wallets!
